Nissan Sets Sales Records in 2011

Thoroughbred Nissan is proud to announce that Nissan is closing out the 2011 year with record numbers in sales, production and value. That's right, regardless of the type of vehicle, the Japanese automaker can boast that each model in their lineup saw a jump in sales at the end of this year.
This is thanks in large part to models like the Nissan Versa, which set its own sales record in November. Deliveries of the Versa totaled 9,129 by the end of the month, a 38.2-percent increase, and the most of any subcompact in America. As a matter of fact, no other car in its segment topped more than 6,000 deliveries.
That's not the only impressive number from Nissan in 2011. Overall sales increased by 20-percent, and production went up 19.1-percent this year. Forecasters attribute these gains to the automaker's ability to conform to the rapidly changing economic landscape, and predict that Nissan will continue to grow as Japan recovers from the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, and American customers recover from the recession of the last few years.
We've been watching this unfold this year, and we're excited for it to continue in 2012. With innovative new Nissan models like the LEAF and the 2012 Altima, there's no doubt that next year will break records for Nissan as well.
What do you think? Will Nissan have another record-setting year in 2012? While there's no way to predict the future, we're certain it will be a good year for the automaker. That said, be sure to stay tuned with Thoroughbred Nissan, 5163 E 22nd St Tucson, AZ 85711 for the most up-to-date news from Nissan.
